Set Up or Support a Scholarship

Creating or contributing to a scholarship takes just minutes but has a long-term positive impact on CSU Pueblo students, their families, and the communities where they live and work.

Give the Gift of Opportunity

At CSU Pueblo, students follow their passions on journeys that will lead them toward productive and satisfying lives. But for many, the opportunity for a world-class education would not exist without the generosity of donors who have made gifts to support scholarships.

Know where your money goes

Our Financial Accountability

Beyond minimizing tuition costs, scholarships enhance a recipient’s experience in other ways, including:

1

Motivation to make the most of college and to graduate on time.

2

Autonomy to discover interests around campus outside the classroom.

3

A better financial foundation upon graduation, with fewer/no loan obligations.

Establishing a Scholarship to Make an Impact on ThunderWolf Scholars

Thanks to funds donated by alumni, staff, and University supporters, the Foundation provides scholarships to undergraduates based on academic merit and financial need. Studying everything from art to zoology, CSU Pueblo scholars continually demonstrate the substantial impact that gifts of all sizes can have.

Endowed Scholarships:

An endowed scholarship is meant to last in perpetuity, with a portion of the annual income used to fund the scholarship’s monetary award. Endowed scholarships may be funded over time but are not fully endowed until the account reaches $25,000.

Annually Funded, Named Scholarships:

Annually funded scholarships are funded on a year-to-year basis. The minimum annual amount for an annually funded, named scholarship is $1,200. The scholarship creator may name the scholarship and direct the Foundation on all awarding and student eligibility criteria.
