In 2016, Marie Lobato established the Lobato Family Scholarship Fund in honor of her husband, Joseph Lobato, and on behalf of the Lobato family. Her passion for education was evident throughout her life, as she and her husband, Joseph, ensured that each of their seven children received a higher education degree.
The Lobato family owned and worked a 2,700-acre ranch in Center, Colorado, where they instilled the importance of education and hard work in their children. Marie’s commitment to education and community inspired her to create a scholarship fund that continues to impact students’ lives.
