My name is Daniel Minich, and I am honored and thrilled to introduce myself as the newly appointed Director of Alumni Relations and Engagement at Colorado State University Pueblo! As a proud 2020 Mass Communications graduate, I have always cherished the strong sense of community and camaraderie that our university fosters. The journey from student to alumnus has been an incredible one for me, and I am elated to take on the responsibility of strengthening the bond between our esteemed institution and you, our accomplished alumni.

The Alumni Association is the heartbeat of our university, connecting graduates from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and years. It is a network that thrives on the shared experiences, achievements, and continued growth of our alumni community. As we embark on this exciting chapter together, my vision is to create meaningful and lasting connections that enrich the lives of our graduates and contribute to the continued success of CSU Pueblo.

Our Alumni Association is a platform designed to celebrate your accomplishments, provide valuable networking opportunities, and keep you informed about the remarkable developments at CSU Pueblo. We aim to be a catalyst for personal growth, professional success, and philanthropic impact, uniting our alma mater.

In the spirit of keeping you well-informed, allow me to share some of the exciting initiatives and achievements happening at CSU Pueblo. Our campus is buzzing with energy, and we are making great strides in academic excellence, research, and community outreach. From the appointment of Armando Valdez as the new President, to innovative academic programs including the CyberWolves cyber security team placing first at the Mountain West Cyber Challenge, CSU Pueblo continues to make a positive impact locally and globally. In the Fall semester, enrollment was up 4% and retention numbers continue to grow.

I encourage you to stay connected with us through our various events, newsletters, and social media channels. Your involvement is crucial in maintaining the vitality of our alumni community. Whether you are interested in mentoring current students, attending alumni gatherings, or contributing your expertise to the growth of CSU Pueblo, there are numerous ways to get involved.

As we move forward, I am committed to fostering an environment where your voices are heard, your achievements are celebrated, and your connection to CSU Pueblo remains strong. Together, let’s build a legacy that reflects the excellence and resilience of our remarkable pack!

Thank you for being an essential part of the CSU Pueblo family. I look forward to the privilege of serving you and witnessing the continued success of our alumni community.

Go ThunderWolves!
